Agree with pretty much everything the author said. I suggested Jean Twenge's book (iGen) several years ago as a great read after seeing her speak and reading it. These were all trends preceding the pandemic, but have been exacerbated by isolation and more dependence on social media, amped up MSM messaging, etc.
Unfortunately, the trends on those charts will likely continue to rise at a rapid rate based on some of the poor decisions that continue to be made.

If you read the article, they do lay responsibility on parents as well. Probably not a good idea that boomers thought therapy pets at colleges was helpful....its not just teens. thanks boomers

Grow up you are not the first generation of teens to have stress .Teens during WW2 had stress a little more than being ghosted on Facebook.It has to be their parents or grandparents fault it can’t just be their fault..Wonder if teens in Ukraine are worried about social media.Nobody said life would be a bed of roses deal with it like everyone else.

its an internet message board, i know the separarion. come back to me when god stops giving cancer to children. until then ill think ill go with social media here.

They've been addressing it for years by drugging kids up on antidepressants with ridiculous side effects. Really doing wonders.
