Women’s Team

Masonius 21 pts... she's been the team leader so far
Frosh Jada Eads 27... hit 5 three's in 2nd half
Yaya Lops...... 17

Team was 0-9 from 3 in first half and hit 9-16 in second. Exciting OT game. 74-71.

Both teams played well.... listened to last qtr and OT on WSOU.... sounds like it would have been a fun game to watch in person..... will def try to get to next Saturday's game v Creighton.

Nice job Lady Pirates

The two starters have serious injuries. Hope we can get them back at some point.

The big, who has been out all season might come back by Feb.

A shame because Tony really had a special team this season.
Dan any insights into what NIL looks like for our WBB

The key is going to be frosh PG Eads. She alone is going to look for $10,000.

Regarding the total.... I am sorry but I really do not know the answer.

Can we start crowdfunding for that right now on rivals? Board has raised much more in the past for the men’s. We could knock that out in a week and it would make a significant difference in the outlook for the women’s team next year.

The next 3 games are brutal

4-0 Creighton at home

2-1 Marquette on the road

4-0 UConn on the road

If that becomes nec, I will. For now it's early.
Why don’t we get a jump on things instead of waiting, which always backfires (no need to look any further then our NIL history from the very beginning)? Get the money going then if the price goes up we just continue on instead of starting further behind the 8-ball? Let’s be proactive instead of reactive for a change!

$10,000 honestly sounds like a low number to me.

Who are the two starters that are hurt? Just started following them. Was reeled in by the great Nova come from behind and am all in after the OT white knuckler vs G'town.

Need to beat Creighton home . Time for some more fans to show up for the Creighton game.
I agree with the Creighton at home being a chip they need. I also agree that a big crowd would be important, but the Ladies have to be the ones that step up. I would be concerned that they might play very tense with an above average crowd. Tony and the staff will have a tough job getting the team into the proper mindset this week. Expect some losses coming up, but there will be a good deal of chances for wins too. I'm thinking 22 or 23 wins may be the number. 20 or 21 will be squarely on the Bubble line.

What makes you think donations are not already in progress.

If Tony needs help we will provide it.

Savannah Catalon and Shailyn Pickney. Both have ankle injuries. Catalon was still wearing a boot during the Georgetown game. Pickney was not wearing a boot for the first time.

Catalon is the real problem.

Both players still out and might be for a while. We'll see.

Jada Eads has stepped up nicely in her absence but we still need Savannah back.

During the Villanova win, when the team swarmed Masonius, someone in a boot was jumping up and down but I couldn’t tell who it was. That was a little scary!

Eads has stepped up. Her clutch shooting was notable. Several players hit big shots when they had to have it.
