And that 'home cooking' included two dominating wins against quality competition in Rutgers and Princeton.Great accomplishment by this team and well deserved. What has not been discussed but should be noted is that our 7-0 record was accomplished with only 3 home games and after Georgia we will have played 5 away games out of 8 this season . Not an easy task facing any team and the staff and players have responded to it well. Not only have we played on the road a lot but they included long trips to Texas and Mexico. No one can say our record was based on a lot of "home cooking".
Played them last year at Walsh after Christmas when they were ranked and blew them out 70-51.Would love to see us play Georgia at home but beating Georgia on the road would make a real statement on how tough this team is.
That's why I wanted them at home again.Played them last year at Walsh after Christmas when they were ranked and blew them out 70-51.

Georgia is a good veteran team with 10 players returning. They were predicted to finish 9th in the 14-team SEC.

Don't let that prediction fool you into thinking that's not good. There are now five SEC teams in the AP Top 25, and two other teams receiving votes.

Actually, those five teams- South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Mississippi St. and Kentucky- are in the AP Top 12.
It's a very tough league. I'm sure Coach Stefanopoulos can tell you all about it.

She replaced Andy Landers who had been the head coach for 36 years and in his last season he didn't make the NCAA's breaking a string of 20 consecutive trips there. This will be a big test for us and winning this game will be a plus for us at selection time.
