Women's Golf Releases Spring Schedule

The Hall will play five tournaments this spring.


SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – Seton Hall Head Coach Natalie Desjardins announced the 2024 Seton Hall women's golf spring schedule on Wednesday. The Pirates will participate in five tournaments this fall.

Seton Hall will open the spring season with the Columbia Classic for a second straight year. The three-day, three-round event will be held at Duran Golf Club in Melbourne, Fla, February 10-12. Last season, the Pirates placed eighth. Returning Pirates Ginevra Zavagli (Rome, Italy) and Ana Sarrias Pro (Cadiz, Spain) tied as the top Seton Hall performer at 11-over-par.

Two weeks later, The Hall will participate in a new tournament, the Grand Canyon Invitational, hosted by Grand Canyon University. The three-round event will take place, Feb. 27-28, at GCU's Golf Course in Phoenix, Ariz.

The Pirates will return to the Georgia State Invitational, March 25-26, at Rivermont Golf Course in Johns Creek, Ga. It will be the fourth year in a row competing at Rivermont with the Pirates placing eighth among 16 teams last spring. The Hall's best finish with a fifth place showing in 2022.

Seton Hall will return to the Rutgers Invitational for the first time since 2016. The Pirates will play three rounds at Rutgers University's course, April 6-7, in Piscataway, N.J. The Hall tied for sixth in 2016, played during the fall season.

Finally, The Hall will face its five fellow conference members at the BIG EAST Championship, April 19-21. The tournament returns to Callawassie Island Golf Club in Okatie, S.C. for the first time since 2019. The Pirates won the title the first time Callawassie hosted, in 2016. Last spring, Seton Hall placed fifth at Riverton Pointe Country Club.
