Woof

Win the FAU game and salvage the weekend. And hope VCU and Vandy have great years.
Try to get the next game. After that I would start Felton, Coleman and Godswill. Build for the future. The fanbase will be more understanding of that than watching whatever else we are watching . Also, the staff need to do a better job of evaluating players, brought into the program. We all understand the NIL situation, but not sure what they saw in a few of these recruits.

It’s FAU post Dust May.

Not Baylor.

Beating them should be expected if this team is even half as good as some of you think.

My view was we had to be clean the rest of the OOC and split Rutgers or VCU. And that’s to simply set up having a year in conference like we did last season, to the extent that’s even possible.

I'm not shocked by the defensive letdown. It makes sense, given our style, that our defense wouldn't be the same in a back to back situation. It's a very high effort, high work rate style and even playing a deep lineup, it's going to wear some guys out. It can clearly be effective, but recovery time is important. Fortunately, after this weekend, that won't be an issue again until the BET. Not sure I'd bet on a deep run there though.

Hofstra needs to have good year also. They are playing Houston tonight.

Section 112 what do you think of the state of the NY Football Giants and releasing Daniel Jones? It was overdue to move on from Jones.

There is no future in college anymore. Every program is a one-year program. You do whatever you think gives you the best chance to win, now. At least you should. If you develop guys for next year, there's every reason to believe you're developing them for someone else.

I understand your point, but what does win now mean? Could there be a turn around of some type? I guess it could , but I personally see so many negatives at present. You have a traditional DePaul or recent GTown season and they will bolt without question(the young players)

Not if you’re Marquette

Excellent observation. Team played outstanding D vs VCU, effort, energy and intensity were off the charts and got enough O to get the win. They got into VCUs guards, pushed them out and wore them down. VCUs 3 point shooting wilted late and in OT.

Being here and watching the team vs Vandy it was obvious the effort was there but just a bit slow. Couldn’t recover and get out on shooters. Gave up way too may straight line drives. Vandy ran some nice O but so did VCU.

Expecting a much better defensive effort Sunday with a day to recover. If we come out of Charleston 2-1 i think most of us would consider it a successful trip. We’ll see.
