Wow, this is terrible

At least that team beat mid majors and took care of games they should never lose. This current team has now lost too two mid majors and looks horrid. People missing Willard yet ?
Willard was not winning here under this new environment. Did u see his last recruiting class. They all went mid major and sucked there too

Even with the foul shots, what, we’re eekimg these out by 3-4 points and still in the 50’s

It’s a disaster watching this. I’m shocked how bad the level of play is. A drop off, an adjustment? Sure? But this? Omg lol. Dual and Harmon can’t even beat out Addae-Wusu at the point.
That was a sub level NEC game.

Might as well eliminate our whole NIL department and the suits that occupy it and save the university the expense. Theres nothing they can do that will overcome this. You’re not getting a monster donation every year nor are the small potatoes going to keep putting out.

Time to be progressive and look past athletics as they currently are and wait for major change
Yea I’m not interested in giving Sha anymore of my money. This is the best he could do? Not sure we can compete in the MAAC right now.

How about he coaches these guys up to throw a ball in a bucket? DeFeNsE!!

Unfair. No way he should be the PG as we all agree, In fairness he's playing out of position. At this point he is one of our 3 best players and he did a nice job to close out last season.
Stop saying things unfair. He’s not a big east talent. After Jenkins this whole team sucks

This is dues to the ineptitude of Felt. We fell so far behind in NIL, and he held the program back. He’s in so far over his head it’s ridiculous. We cannot go year to year having Holloway getting bargain basement players he can develop. We need impact players. We are screwed

The whole program from the top down is delusional and living in some bizarro world.

Holloway is a clown. Really unlikable guy. He won't have a fan base much longer if this continues, but he can go collect his millions and keep begging the gullible for donations to fund this racket. He's laughing straight to the bank.

Yeah to think this wouldn’t affect the fan base is…Jets-like. Which…is Never a comparison you want.

But, as a Jets fan, there just sent our season ticket renewals, which one patient has now been made, with a price increase.

That’s delusional.

Seton Hall is approaching that level

It’s a negative culture from the top down. The moderator of this board and some of its posters do more to promote the program than anyone in the entire athletic program. And they can’t even give an assistant coach to interview? The guy who heads the NIL send back some of the most ridiculous responses you’ll ever see and is surprised by the response? It’s telling.

What talent can u get with no money?
You still have to compile a roster of players that compliment each other. A true PG to start with. You are right we can't get UConn talent and afford elite players like many schools. BUT you have to scout your transfers to the program in different way. Sha is and has been enamored with guys who will be tough in an ally way fight. We might be proven very wrong and have egg on our faces, but this crew of transfers in have the most deficiencies in their individual games that we have seen to date. Hope you see my point there.

Just think, Those poor kids have to deal with a rough bus ride home late at night. Get to their dorms hungry, study and then have to wake up early for class.

:D

i think shu is in this wierd spot with NIL. they can no longer afford talent they could usually rely on. guys like richmond, samuel, and davis easily jetting to other teams. shu could win with those kinda guys. so instead of fielding a maac team it seems like shu (and similar schools) take flyers on guys who once were touted recruits and hope they can regain some magic. sounds better than getting bottom bag recruits right? well seems those touted has beens never panned out for a reason. perhaps they cant be coached or have been exposed at the higher level. but its apparent that a team full of those flyer guys might be worse than the generic maac team.

sha isnt free of blame for this, particular roster comstruction. but i think that's where i see our team now. and yes it's because of NIL. it's changed things. we have a roster of uncoachable nukes from the looks of it

We have talent. How many guys do we have who were ranked in the top 100 as prospects a year or two years ago? Wusu has been a rotation player in the BE for 4 years, including on at last two teams I think of off-hand that were bubble or borderline bubble teams. Jenkins was a good mid-major guard. Toumi was a good mid-major big. Harmon was a good mid-major guard.

We don't have the talent of others, but this team isn't devoid of talent. Maybe I'm drinking the "kool aid" in saying that, but I'm not a typical "kool aid" drinker as most long time posters here know. People whose opinion I respect have watched our team in practice and predicted we would be just outside the top half of the league, but certainly not at the bottom.

I just cannot fathom we are anywhere near as bad as the first 3 games have showed.

People also watched our players practice in the past and we were told how great Jamir Harris was going to be for the Pirates.

Sometimes it’s best to evaluate our talent / capabilities vs the competition and not solely within the confines of our Seton Hall bubble.

I would really love to know why Harmon is stuck on the bench still at this point

Harmon needs to play more. Get the ball out of Wusu’s hands. Jenkins has to play 36 minutes. Godswill is the only bright spot. I thought Coleman was a better player than this but his D has been bad and very little offense coming from him. Offensive sets are a mess. Dual looks lost.

Coaching - why was Jenkins on the bench so long. We lost the game when he was on the bench. Can’t keep doing these line changes and trying to play ten guys.

I hope they got off the bus and had to shoot free throws for hours last night.
