Watched part of the game. Penn State’s roster had some of the thinnest players I’ve ever seen….maybe I’m skewed watching Wusu, Davis, Richmond, Dawes, etc, but if you lined rosters up side by side it would look like a HS vs College roster. They did “out-quick” RU and get all the loose balls….RU’s shot selection was awful. How did we lose to them?

Easy. Rutgers shot lights out from three which is an outlier for the season. And we shot poorly from the foul line which was the difference in the game. As bad as the Hall played that game, all they had to do was to make their free throws.
RU 1 of 17 from 3 point land and 11 of 22 at the free throw line and that is how you lose a game. How can you be a scholarship BB player and shoot that poorly? Seems like you should lose your ship and NIL money with those results. I think you could find Div 2 kids who could shoot better!
Yeah but go look at the seton hall 3 point defense at that time. They weren’t an outlier. Everyone mediocre just happened to shoot 40%+ from deep vs us.
I could shoot better than that when young. But if i were the ru coach, i'd prefer their current roster over me

We guarded nobody that night. Open shot after open shot. Much has changed since then.
Yep. Four teams at 5-5. Xavier making a legit push to be in the picture. We want UConn to win every game the rest of the way except ours. Another Quad 1 win for The Hall may not happen by Selection Sunday. So, we must take care of business with no slipups.
