Mets unload Verlander and Scherzer and YanKees look like standing pat.Cashman had said he has a championship caliber team and there are probably one or two fans who agree with him.Yankees need contact hitters to wake up the offense not pickups like Donalson for $50 million when he was on downside of his career.Hard to see anyone outbidding the Mets for Otanni.Hal not spending big bucks for superstars in 2024.

Schertzer and verlander have been huge disappointments. I am glad the dodgers didnt drop their trou even though our pitching is gonna probably kill us.

I thought taking the risk with two old and great pitchers made sense. But too often it didn't. Diaz, and four best hitters sub par. Bye bye

Can't be francesa said neither would be dealt a few weeks back

Mets may not be back until 25/26 alonso older, lindor out of his peak but hey if these farm guys pan out watch out

Also you spent 90 mil to send away 2 hof guys for 24 years of future service time plus arb

Pretty depressing time for the Yankees.

The Yankees weren't buyers because they don't have anything to give. The Yankees weren't sellers because they don't have anything that anyone wants. Hate to say at this point Rizzo looks like he's toast, DJ...toast, Sevi toast . Stanton terribly inconsistent and injury plagued. There's a large cast of no name players playing the outfield. Sad situation. Yankees in the worst shape they've been in many years.

DJ has actually put up good numbers recently to my surprise, there are some signs he isn’t cooked…yet. Still, expecting much from an oft injured 35 year old this year was…well, par the course for Cashman

Yanks aren’t going anywhere with Cashman as GM. Not sure when Hal wakes up to that fact or if he cares.
