Was at another SHU function last night- Pat Hobbs- bad deal maker- is not popular among the University staff I spoke to.

Did anyone really expect Pat to speak to the issues that encompass the men's basketball program in any detail given the absolute silence from SH since the end of the season about that program?

In speaking with the staff, did anyone say if Hobbs went rogue on the News 12 story, or was that done with the knowledge of the AD?

What would be interesting is what staff are we talking about, i.e. athletic dept staff, the university administrative staff and what level of staff we're talking about.

Higher level admin staff. Senior people who I spoke to last night. We didn't talk about the TV interview .

About 3 years ago , a senior aide to Sheeran - who has left the University called Hobbs " Teflon man". And said: "you can't believe how this guys overspends and gets away with it". No question that Pat is very smooth.

On the other hand the Law School has gained a lot of ground under him. . The word is, if you are going to practice in the state, go to Seton Hall.

And thus ends the Pat Hobbs saga at Seton Hall.
