I was looking at the Bleachers Report 2023 NBA Mock Draft projections.The highest ranking Elite Eight player is Hawkins of UConn at #23.He was the ONLY first rounder.There's five guys listed to be drafted in the second round.Miami,FAU and San Diego State have NO players listed.The best college players ie Sanogo,Kalkbrenner,Timme,Norvell,etc are NOT listed to be drafted.
I take away from this that a college can be very competitive without 5 star recruits rather a group of 4 and 3 star recruits ,who are probably not pros,but can be very good college players if developed properly.This should be within SHU's reach.
