It was always the case. Even official directions would use 280.

Not always. There was actually a time that we used helicopters to take the kids from EWR to the campus. But they stopped that as many of the recruits were petrified to fly in that way.

Dana has a great article in The Athletic today on Pitino. Basically says he’s been doing this shtick for decades— blaming others, protecting his rear end but usually comes out on the winning side. We’ll see.
