LAST YEAR AGAINST GEORGETOWN
Seton Hall swept the season series against Georgetown last season and has now won the last six contests against the Hoyas. The Pirates own a 43-29 all-time series lead.

The Pirates set a program and BIG EAST Conference single-game record with 19 made three-pointers in a 91-62 rout of Georgetown in Walsh Gym last year on Feb. 2. Former Pirate Andra Espinoza-Hunter had a game-best 25 points on the strength of 7-for-9 shooting from three-point range. Lauren Park-Lane notched her third career double-double with 20 points and a game-high 10 assists. In all, the Pirates were 19-for-31 (.613) from three-point range to set the program record by two.

A week later, The Hall held Georgetown to under 30.0% shooting from the floor in the second half in route to a 60-50 victory in Washington on Feb. 9. Down by three, the Pirates closed the third quarter with a 14-3 run and never trailed again. Sidney Cooks and Park-Lane had 14 points apiece to lead The Hall.

SCOUTING GEORGETOWN
Georgetown is coming off a 10-19 season overall, which included a 4-15 mark in BIG EAST Conference play. The Hoyas ended the regular season with back-to-back road victories and defeated Providence in the opening round of the BIG EAST Tournament before bowing to top-seeded Connecticut in the quarterfinals.

This year, the Hoyas were picked to finish tied for ninth in the BIG EAST Preseason coaches' poll. The Hoyas lost just two starters to graduation and return a talented group battling for minutes including graduate student Kristina Moore, senior Graceann Bennett, junior Kelsey Ransom and sophomore Brianna Scott. Ransom was second on the team in scoring a season ago, averaging 12.0 ppg as well as 4.0 apg. She also ranked second in the league in steals per game with 2.5 to her credit.

Georgetown is off to a strong start in 2022-23. The Hoyas enter Wednesday's contest with an 8-4 mark overall and a 1-2 record in BIG EAST play. They've won four of their last five games including a victory over North Texas last Wednesday. Georgetown's lone BIG EAST victory this year came against Xavier on Dec. 4. They've fallen at home to Marquette and at DePaul. The Hoyas have allowed only 57.4 points per game this year, which ranks second-best in the conference.
