Great version of Dancing Queen

For example, last week when Trump met with musk, and they talked about him leading a task force to take waste out of government, in the story David Muir reported he referred to musk three times as “controversial”, referenced a retweet he made last year about a supposed Anti-Semitic post, and cuts at Twitter.

Musk is certainly controversial. He embraces that.
Not all of the criticism is fair, but some definitely is. I don't think anyone in a federal position who tweets/retweets the stuff that Musk does would keep their job for very long.

I'm still a fan of his, though I would prefer he didn't amplify some of the nonsense that he does on X.
I'm actually picking up a Model 3 this weekend. I had two family members ask if that was a good idea because of how unhinged he is.
One was probably the most unreasonably liberal person I know, the other was a moderate republican.

I recently listened to him on the Lex Fridman podcast. He was mostly talking about Neuralink which was incredibly interesting. Musk is clearly brilliant and thinking through things and their impact on humanity in terms of impact over decades and centuries. I like that version of Musk... Social media just seems to get the worst out of him (like most people)

It’s going to create a tiered system. Elite teams in elite leagues. 20 CFB teams will be able to sustain the costs….maybe 40 CBB teams. Will be like English soccer leagues.
It has never been fair. Other schools have always had more and better everything. You think PJ played on a level playing field?

And now, it is worse.

Maybe this is just me justifying my fanaticism, but I think this makes the successes we achieve so much better. If you told me in '75 we would do what we have done I would have known you were out of your mind.

What do I know?

Trump

Obviously not just about school shootings, but the broader discussion about all gun violence.
Those are the easiest things to do, which gun owners support because they are not harmed. They would not solve the issue but it will do more than nothing.

Also not suggesting I've given an all encompassing list of all we can do. Just the easy place to start.

I also believe in red flag laws for example, but I think a red flag law would be a tougher sell at the federal level, so that should be left to each state to enact/manage on their own.
It make sense to do the right things versus the easy things. You may think it’s easy, but there has been resistance until you do the right things.

Trump

I brought up harsher penalties already. Other than that how else would anything in merges post stopped the 420 school shootings?

College football viewership is at an all time high. Thinking this is going to collapse is unrealistic. People aren’t losing interest - it’s becoming more popular.
Long term funds will dry up from multi millionaires. The billionaires will continue to fund. The question is will a school like Wisconsin go all in 1 year then build up funds over 4 years and on the 5th year go all in again, while Arkansas is all in every year.

I can’t wait for college athletics to collapse. It’s inevitable. It won’t be long before a recruit/prospect like Arch Manning is making the same amount of money in college as a top 5 NFL QB does. Then what happens

Cop on a power trip, pro athlete a diva

Again- I dont care that the cop has been suspended 6x. The amount of deadbeats and gangbangers and lowlifes they have to deal with while Law Enforcement has been neutered across the country you have to look at their suspensions like hard fouls or an occasional late hit on a QB in the pocket to send a message. Sometimes it's going to be necessary. Police now have to be supremely perfect while worrying about his own safety, while a criminal can be aggressive with no regard for anyone else.
Like an offensive player that is allowed to initiate the contact hard on the defender, but the defender cannot touch the offensive player back.

We all saw the video. Hill is a POS, and the cop is trying to keep people (and Hill) safe from tragedy. That there are people (the left) trying to give Hill the benefit of the doubt tells you what kindve disaster our country has become.

Tacking it onto tickets just means your like a pro team. That’s really what this is going to be, it will be free agency where the rich owners/markets will just spend more than the ‘poorer’ ones. You gotta just hope to be a Tampa Bay Ray in that instance and build a great program to stay competitive.
It’s what it already is.

the gun morons think we're banning citizens from guns. strawman argument, the whole thing. not one of them can come even close to arguing what you just presented. if only the victims could be the people who are against trying, maybe then they'd get it. we're up to 420 school shootings the most noteworthy of which was with a legal gun purchased for a kid with mental issues and an fbi file. these morally low gun nuts love moving on from that to strawman the next argument.

i just dont get it.
I brought up harsher penalties already. Other than that how else would anything in merges post stopped the 420 school shootings? School shootings aren’t happening with unregistered guns left and right. No law is stopping a kid from taking their parents gun which tend to be registered. Unregistered guns are bigger problems with gangs and criminals who aren’t going to follow the laws anyway.

Trump

You keep missing the point. Most gun owners want good laws, but they want you to start with the criminals who have guns.

Do me a favor. P. Diddy was just found to have three AR 15s that had serial number is filed off in his possession. In addition, he is accused of sex trafficking and assault. After he gets tried convicted and sentenced, let’s have that discussion about my neighbor who also owns three legal AR 15’s. Let’s see how good the current laws and enforcement treat an actual criminal.

He is a collector, a historian (served on the Board of Gettysburg for years), and he is also a practicing owner who shoots at the range with friends every week. A couple of his friends are military veterans who served in Afghanistan. Maybe owning and being able to shoot it at the range with his friends is a bond they share. Oh and He has never committed any crime.
and what is he being put out???? no really what? what could it prevent? go speak to the families of the last children killed. in all honesty your neighbors hobby can go F itself lets be real here.

I’m not for banning guns.

I’m for making all sales and transfers occur with a background check to someone with a license to own one. I’d prefer all guns are registered (but that’s a tough sell)

I’m for heavy penalties for crime committed with a gun, and penalties for parents of kids who commit crimes with guns.

No law abiding gun owner would be harmed at all.
