Missing the point….making the point about Musk being an illegal alien when he started a company used the visa to stay seems silly when comparing to what the real problem is. The whole story is more desperation because they can’t get their messaging straight.

If he's still on an NBA roster as of January 10, his contract becomes guaranteed for the remainder of the season.

As of that date, any non-guaranteed contract becomes guaranteed for the rest of the season.

That's also the date players can begin to sign 10-day contracts.

High draft pick who was a solid starter at this peak, but pretty quickly became a sometimes starter/versatile bench/rotation guy that every team wants or needs to have. Doesn't get into trouble. Plays a role. And is still going like 18 years later! He's on a new team like every year or every other year.

We have an almost entirely new roster filled with mostly young and inexperienced players. Most of the experienced players have spent their careers playing for mid and low-major schools.

In a world where having older and more experienced players is a huge advantage, there is little to suggest -- on paper -- that this is a top five BE team in October.

That doesn't mean we won't or can't finish top five or six. But as some of us have said for some time, there are a lot of question marks on this roster. Many of them will have to hit for this team to do well and it's no given that will happen.

He cheated the system. He was not here legally because he was on a student visa and he did not enroll in school. He knew he was breaking the law but didn’t care.
