Didn’t Sha want a GM role but we couldn’t come up with the money to hire Barrett?
Did your dentist tell you that? Based on what data? I forgot which biology class I took which taught the cells need fluoride. Please help.I have more of a chance of doing harm to my body with zinc or vitamin A OD then someone drinking sanitized tap water
People should be able to eat whatever they want. Go eat McDonald's every day if you want but you should know what all the words you can't read on a label do to your body. This is an oxymoron right?
I mean he wants a more nutritious regulated menu...yet his CIC eats a modest diet of McDonald's
This is an oxymoron right?I actually like RFK for HHS. He is asking the provocative questions that should be asked given the poor health of this country. We consume the highest percentage of ultra processed food of industrialized nations; over 40% of the population is obese; and a healthcare system fueled by consumption of prescription drugs. If I’m not mistaken, 8 out the last 10 FDA Commissioners now work for Pharma companies including Pfizer and Moderna.
He has a steep hill to climb due to the lobbies and misaligned incentives, but you need a disruptive force to initiate the required change.

And how many childhood deaths from measles and chicken pox to own the libs on this?I actually like RFK for HHS. Clearly it’s warranted- let’s look at a prime example. We had Jackie Johnson in our gym last March in the NIT- granted he had a crap game against us- but goes on to score 23 vs SJ. 18vs us with the game winner. Kid clearly has talent and ends up at fordham. Sure we don’t know went down, but that’s gotta be a GM role to identify opponents and start picking off these opportunities to snag talent. This is Sha’s 3rd roster that he’s screwed up on. 3/3Can he? Coaching contracts state that the head coach is in charge of the complete program. Forcing a GM without the head coach's buy-in would be a breach of said contract. This person would also have to be a Sha guy.
We have Sha the funds for a 4th assistant. We can divert the funds. Can he? Coaching contracts state that the head coach is in charge of the complete program. Forcing a GM without the head coach's buy-in would be a breach of said contract. This person would also have to be a Sha guy.
Link to post game?First off, I don't think Sha cares. This is an obligation to him. While I don't doubt it's simply an obligation to many coaches, at least Willard developed a rapport with Gary and to a lesser extent Dave.
I think Gary does this because he enjoys it -- I doubt he needs the money and this gig probably pays pocket change relatively speaking.
His career is also winding down and he may only have a couple of years of having a side job left in him. I'd suspect, if he felt disrespected, he'd cash it in but being forced to watch this nearly unwatchable team might also push him to the door sooner than later.
I'd agree with the idea hardly anybody is listening to Seton Hall basketball for Gary Cohen. The games aren't on linear radio anymore and since every game is on TV, most are likely only listening if they can't view the game (like Wednesday night) or in the car trying to get to the game.

If they only knew TwitterGuy's dentist AND orthodontist both recommended it. That's, not 1 but 2 key players in the health world who've done their own research and are the best of the best. Not to mention America is the healthiest country in the world because the guidance from the top is the best. Nobody should ever question what they've been told from those geniuses. This article would've never been written if it had these facts.

About a month old…interesting…
First off, I don't think Sha cares. This is an obligation to him. While I don't doubt it's simply an obligation to many coaches, at least Willard developed a rapport with Gary and to a lesser extent Dave.He basically said Gary asked a stupid question.
Not egregious…if coming from say Bill Belichek to a Pats online nobody writer…but for Seton Hall where Gary is The Name… I just didn’t like it.
Maybe I’m too sensitive to it, especially given the season we’re appear to be embarking on…but I think big picture, the coach of a Seton Hall team needs to nurture and enhance the coverage of someone like Gary Cohen…and not ever chance tarnishing it…or worse…ending it.
https://www.cnn.com/2024/10/03/health/fluoride-drinking-water-tooth-decay-risk-benefit/index.htmlWell that's the answer TwitterGuy's dentist and orthodontist recommended it. All is good. Everyone should take it. I bet if Harvard and Cambridge knew that they wouldn't have even researched it. It must be good all around. Do you think fluoride might have an impact on the heart, on dementia, on the nervous system, etc? If so, would the impact all be positive?
Does that answer if it's good for you or not? Dentists think that small amount has an impact on your teeth, but it can't have any impact on other parts is what you're saying?Fluoride treatment in water is about 3 drops per 55 gallon barrel
Actually I listened the other night while I watched because the tv crew was abominable.I’ve always been a fan of Gary but do we honestly think anyone follows or supports our program solely because he is our play by play announcer. The last time I listened to a game on the radio Warner Fucell was broadcasting.

Sha is Teflon Man.Sha asked about message for the fan base: “Already? That question? I’m not sure how you guys want me to answer that question. I think that question is really not a good question right now. It’s three games in and you guys are worried about the fan base. Why would the fan base worry right now?"
Are you even serious now, Sha? Sorry, way down several pegs on the respect-meter from this alum / season ticket holder.
Where coordination and roles is important. This team needs spacing, passing, cutting, and has guys who can score off the dribble. Right now it’s clear nobody is confident in where they’re supposed to be or where their teammates are, why we’re seeing awful looks and intercepted passes.Beyond having no point guard, we have no shooters and no post players on offense. That makes it even more difficult for the few players with the ability to create for themselves to do so.
We're fortunate Jenkins has been as good as he's been (against the level of competition he's used to) otherwise this could be much worse.
To be clear…this is NOT what I said.
But I did say he’s got to be better than dissing a “pro” like Gary.
Let’s face it, us having someone like Gary doing our games adds credibility to our program…something we desperately need.
When he leaves I do not look forward to his replacement…especially given our future prospects in this NIl world.
The school needs to find a way to make a statement that they will fund at least $3 to $5 million in NIL out of their budget for all sports, with at least 3 million of that dedicated to men’s basketball.
They need to tell their donors if they do not like NIL, please donate to operating expenses from which we will be redirecting funds.
And they need to do this now. Not after every other damn high-level division one school does it… Which is our usual modus operandi!
A Seton Hall tradition. We find reasons to not like our coaches. First Orr (two NCAAs), then Willard. (5 NCAAS, BET Championship, co- BE Regular Season Champion), now Holloway (Elite 8, NIT Championship). SMH.Sha is becoming g very unlikable. Bad coach
