Can we stop calling it NIL? they don’t even pretend. It’s pure salary/employeeship
Jeff Green seems like the perfect example of how you can carve out a lengthy career in the league. He's been in the league since 2007. High draft pick who was a solid starter at this peak, but pretty quickly became a sometimes starter/versatile bench/rotation guy that every team wants or needs to have. Doesn't get into trouble. Plays a role. And is still going like 18 years later! He's on a new team like every year or every other year.Amazing to see Kyle Lowry and Jeff Green on that list. Can't believe they are still going. Kudos to them.
That was about as loud a game that I have attended. CrazyHe hit three 3s. The one in the second half did a 360 around the rim and fell in. That was the Powell from Trenton game. The Rock was electric.
When edge rushers aren't playing and your defensive line isn't winning the battles, it sure as hell makes for an easier day for the opponents QB and RB. Yeah UCLA has injuries, so does Wisconsin, I'm not a betting man, but I'd bet their NIL is higher than RU and it really shows as you move down the depth chart. For all UCLA's injuries they've played the #1, #3, and #8 team and haven't exactly been blown out.
A 5th year guy who averaged 8pts & 5 rebounds getting $500K in the Portal to come off the bench for Memphis (his 4th school) quits because he's only been paid $175k so far. Before any games are played. Now he'll transfer to his 5th school somewhere and be eligible immediately. What a system!

Great story, keep going as long as he can on the NBA level.
Just being the child of a divorced couple in no way makes you disadvantaged economically and/or educationally. Absurd.
