I’m pretty sure you know why.

His success has mostly been predicated on having superior players. He's rolling a low major conference with a high major roster. McNeese has like 4 guys who would be our best player. At LSU, he was buying kids like Naz Reid and J'Vonte Smart. With level resources, will he be a better coach than Kevin Keatts? I'm not so sure.

What don’t you understand? The guy can flat out coach. Hes never had a losing season. Only 3 out of his 11 seasons as a head coach he’s had less than 20 wins (18,18,19). And he’s done it at a high level

Very well-coached team. I feel like McCollum is getting overlooked in this cycle. If Indiana backs into him as a 6th or 7th choice, they're going to be very fortunate.

Although I generally disliked the way his teams played (particularly on offense), I was among the group that appreciated Willard while he was here and did not take his success for granted. Now that the curtain has been pulled back a bit on our leadership , I think I appreciate him even more. I imagine he did a fair bit of swimming upstream during his time here.

Not true. You're really underestimating how entrenched partisan politics is, and also overestimating how much people recoil at left wing ideas. Anti-trust and government regulation of corporations, an increased government role in healthcare, increasing taxes on the wealthy - these policies generally have plurality or majority support.

Lebron isn’t out until he’s out. Coaching Luka would’ve been great, but still being attached to LeBron short term is too big a risk

I don't think he got what he wanted at all. I think he's always been in the camp either the players are employees of the school or they can do a commercial for a place as small as Bunny's or as big as McDonald's. I don't think anyone has ever been for a bunch of alums just throwing hundreds of thousands at players.

Great question. The high expectations notion needs to be factored in. At least we had some reason for optimism and joy with the last Amaker season. (albeit fleeting) This year, we were bad from the jump. What makes this year tougher in my mind is there is no reason to believe things are going to improve. Getting called out by opposing coaches. Singled out by broadcasters. Empty seats. No student involvement. MAAC level talent. Blowouts. The fiasco in the upper reaches of Setonia leadership. No statement from administration. Stink doesn't get better with age. Critical point for the Hall.

It’s all about the money and getting great players. Boy did Kevin see it the handwriting on the wall at Seton Hall. Not sure how he would have withstood our NIL?? Good luck in The NCAAs
