Are multi team tournaments coming to an end?

Not sure if you guys are going to get paywalled on that site. if you do and are curious about the article, let me know and I'll see if I can find a workaround.

In essence, A.D. Benedict says that financial pressures on teams make flying across the country to a tournament in which you don't have any participating profit rights far or less attractive. Benedict and Hurley would rather do things like the coaches classic at MSG where travel costs are more manageable, the games are more accessible to fans, and there are opportunities for the teams to profit as well.

Thinking about that, that may be a step back towards regional basketball, which would be a good thing, in my opinion.

He was the only guy that actually showed up with energy and effort in that first NIT game last year and basically willed us into waking up towards the end of that game. Without him we don’t win the NIT last year.

The next 12 months are going to be wild in states held by democratic governors, especially the ones vowing to fight mass deportations. If Homan follows through mass deportation will happen from the states with republican governors, while democratic governors fight it. Many illegal immigrants I would suspect will be heading to states with democratic governors. If those states get overloaded with illegal immigrants who can't vote, will the voters say enough and elect a republican governor.

St Johns need to realize that that hes not going to win you games but he will keep you in them. He's a stat stuffer like lebron not an assassin like Kobe. Kardary needed Dawes to get hot in the NIT for them to reach their potential.

Both Kadary and Dawes are a product of Sha poking and prodding. Without Sha Dawes would still be just a catch and shoot guy and Kadary would still be stuck in neutral.

Now when players aren’t playing well it’s that they are in a bad situation and would do better here.

But when players flourish in other systems, we should never have let them go.

You can’t write a better novel.

Always what we don’t have. Always these guys would be stars here and better than what we have
