Coleman

I just realized I didn’t see a thread on him after last night. We all saw the talent in the OOC games. We also saw him struggle a lot in the BE. The three starts has given him the court time he needed to work through his struggles and against a weak DePaul team, played his best BE game of the year. I believe it’s his first game all year with more than one 3. His confidence in shooting from beyond the arc is starting to show. His two misses looked good too. His earlier threes weren’t shot with confidence.

His D has improved as his comfortability on the floor at this high level of talent in all conference games. Athleticism alone in the BE doesn’t always equate to good D. He was either unable to recover from being out of position or just figuring out the skills of his opponents and beat almost every game in the BE. Sha has allowed this and now it’s paying off. The glimpses we were seeing are starting to be his MO now. I see him playing so much better all around and think we’re going to see him make even better strides as the last 9 games and gets on the all rookie team.

Illegal Immigration and Crime

This was ignored by the media, but there were two hearings in Congress this month that detailed the huge number of crimes being committed my illegal immigrants. Many have been released after being convicted and have committed murder.

As always, there's somebody from the church and/or clergy assisting and encouraging illegal immigration. Don't jump on me for posting the facts. Watch the hearings and educate yourself.

Big Ten Tournament won't include all teams starting next season

The league will expand from 14 to 18 teams in 2024-25, but only the top 15 teams will qualify for the conference tournament

By David Cobb

Starting next season, the bottom three teams in the Big Ten standings won't be invited to the men's and women's conference basketball tournaments as conference realignment ramps up and forces leagues to alter their postseason protocols. While the Big Ten is growing from 14 to 18 members, its conference tournament will expand by only slot to 15 teams, according to Tuesday's announcement from the league.

The Big Ten Tournament will remain a five-day event in which the top four seeds receive a double-bye. Teams seeded Nos. 5-9 will receive a single bye, while teams seeded Nos. 10-15 will play in the tournament's preliminary rounds. The bracket should shape up similarly to how the ACC bracket has looked with 15 teams since the 2013-14 season.

Other conferences are expected to follow suit in the coming months with announcements over how their new additions will impact the postseason structure. Under existing protocols for the top six conferences in college basketball, every team makes their conference tournament. However, the Big Ten's move shows that will change as the sport moves toward a new era amid the Pac-12's disintegration.

The Big Ten is adding Oregon, UCLA, USC and Washington from the Pac-12. The SEC is adding Oklahoma and Texas from the Big 12. The Big 12 is adding Arizona, Arizona State Colorado and Utah from the Pac-12. Lastly, the ACC is adding Cal and Stanford from the Pac-12 along with SMU from the ACC.

The Big Ten also announced the number of conference games played by each school will remain the same with men's teams playing 20 conference games and women's teams playing 18 conference games

Chicago, Ill. - The Seton Hall men's basketball team flexed its defensive muscles on Tuesday night, holding DePaul to just 22 percent shooting on the night in a 72-39 at Wintrust Arena. The 39 points are the fewest Seton Hall has ever allowed against a BIG EAST opponent.

The Pirates limited the Blue Demons to just 11 made field goals and just three 3-pointers. Seton Hall's previous mark for fewest points allowed against a conference foe was 42 against South Florida in the BIG EAST Tournament on March 12, 2013.

Dre Davis (Indianapolis, Ind.) posted his first career double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Isaiah Coleman (Fredericksburg, Va.) and Jaden Bediako (Brampton, Ontario) also posted double figure scoring nights with 15 points and 12 points, respectively. Kadary Richmond (Brooklyn, N.Y.) returned after a two-game absence to score six points and pull down seven rebounds.

How It Happened

Both teams started off cold but the Pirates managed to jump out to 15-2 lead thanks to an 11-0 run. Despite The Hall holding DePaul to one field goal in the game's first 10 minutes, the Blue Demons were still within eight, 15-7, with 10:12 left in the first half. A steal by Richmond less than a minute later led to Dylan Addae-Wusu (Bronx, N.Y.) making one of two free throws and another defensive stop led to Al-Amir Dawes (Newark, N.J.) finding Coleman in the corner for a three-pointer that pushed Seton Hall's lead back to 12, 19-7, at the 8:11 mark in the first half.

DePaul cut its deficit to 13, 31-18, on a buzzer-beating three that ended the first half but the Pirates used a 12-2 run that ballooned their lead to 23, 43-20, with 16:07 left. Davis and Coleman combined to go on a 7-0 run of their own that extended The Hall's advantage to 28 as the rout continued.

The Pirates' largest lead of the night came following four consecutive points scored by Jaquan Sanders (Queens, N.Y.) and layup by Coleman off of a Sanders feed that made it 72-36 Seton Hall.

Vince McMahon out at WWE after resigning from TKO Group amid sex abuse scandal

Vince McMahon announced Friday he is stepping down from his position as executive chairman of WWE-parent TKO Group Holdings amid the sexual abuse scandal that has rocked the wrestling world.

According to Deadline, McMahon denied the allegations of a the lawsuit that was filed against him Thursday that accused him of sexual assault and trafficking, but he is nonetheless resigning from his post.

“I stand by my prior statement that Ms. Grant’s lawsuit is replete with lies, obscene made-up instances that never occurred, and is a vindictive distortion of the truth,” McMahon said Friday, according to Deadline. “I intend to vigorously defend myself against these baseless accusations, and look forward to clearing my name.

“However, out of respect for the WWE Universe, the extraordinary TKO business and its board members and shareholders, partners and constituents, and all of the employees and Superstars who helped make WWE into the global leader it is today, I have decided to resign from my executive chairmanship and the TKO board of directors, effectively immediately.”

McMahon, the co-founder of the modern WWE, was hit with the bombshell lawsuit this week by ex-staffer Janel Grant — which included allegations that he defecated on her during a threesome, trafficked her to other WWE executives and sexually abused her with toys he named after wrestling stars.

Staff members were told of McMahon’s decision in an email Friday, according to Variety.

“I wanted to inform you that Vince McMahon has tendered his resignation from his positions as TKO Executive Chairman and on the TKO Board of Directors,” WWE president and TKO board member Nick Khan said in an email to staff on Friday, per Variety. “He will no longer have a role with TKO Group Holdings or WWE.”

Grant’s lawsuit comes after the Wall Street Journal reported in 2023 that the WWE was investigating an alleged $3 million payment from McMahon to a departing female employee following a consensual affair.

Grant, who was not previously named before this week’s allegations came to light, claims in her new lawsuit that after she signed an NDA to keep things under wraps, she received $1 million but no further payments.

Grant, 43, who previously worked in WWE’s legal and talent departments named McMahon, 78, WWE and John Laurinaitis, the company’s former head of talent relations and general manager, in the lawsuit.

In 2019, Grant allegedly was introduced to McMahon at the luxury condo where they both lived, the Park Tower Stamford — a 36-story condo tower formerly known as Trump Parc Stamford.

McMahon later allegedly promised her a job with the company after her parents died, but Grant has alleged that this entailed having a sexual relationship with him, which continued into January 2022.

McMahon allegedly shared nude photos of her to other employees and directed her to have sex with other executives and a wrestling star, according to the lawsuit.

The lawsuit also alleges that McMahon texted Grant in 2020: “I’m the only one who owns U and controls who I want to f— U.”

Grant alleges that McMahon’s use of sex toys also caused her injuries.

“Ms. Grant hopes that her lawsuit will prevent other women from being victimized,” Ann Callis, her attorney, said in a statement Thursday. “The organization is well aware of Mr. McMahon’s history of depraved behavior, and it’s time that they take responsibility for the misconduct of its leadership.”

McMahon had initially stepped down from WWE in 2022 amid the organization looking into his alleged sexual misconduct, but returned in 2023 and helped merge WWE and UFC, forming TKO Group Holdings.
