I think most would agree, he will probably make more $$ next year in an NIL situation vs. a 2-way contract or G league type situation and will be able to continue improving his stock to be in a potential 1st round type situation.
What is it going to cost SHU to keep him another year? With programs like Kentucky, Kansas..... even St. Johns able to offer kids 6 figure contracts, will SHU be able to match?
One thought I had last night was that if the Seton Hall fanbase had an idea of the exact number it would take (and not an arbitrary insane number thrown out) and we could watch the progress of that money being raised... I'm sure we could do it collectively.
Part of the hesitation with blindly donating to Onward Setonia is that there really is no transparency as to how much is coming in, how it is exactly being used -- suppose this is a larger issue of NIL deals being done behind closed doors.
Regardless of what Kadary does, it's been such a joy watching him play this year. There is no doubt that with him, Addae and Dre back next year, SHU will be in a great position both from a financial and competitive standpoint.
GO PIRATES!!!
