Siena and Gerry Mac

Somewhat dated. Seemed like a guy who would never leave Syracuse. Had a cup of coffee overseas but came back and stayed. I think he’ll make a great head coach. Gritty competitor. Not unlike Sha

Next Year - Kadary

I think most would agree, he will probably make more $$ next year in an NIL situation vs. a 2-way contract or G league type situation and will be able to continue improving his stock to be in a potential 1st round type situation.

What is it going to cost SHU to keep him another year? With programs like Kentucky, Kansas..... even St. Johns able to offer kids 6 figure contracts, will SHU be able to match?

One thought I had last night was that if the Seton Hall fanbase had an idea of the exact number it would take (and not an arbitrary insane number thrown out) and we could watch the progress of that money being raised... I'm sure we could do it collectively.

Part of the hesitation with blindly donating to Onward Setonia is that there really is no transparency as to how much is coming in, how it is exactly being used -- suppose this is a larger issue of NIL deals being done behind closed doors.

Regardless of what Kadary does, it's been such a joy watching him play this year. There is no doubt that with him, Addae and Dre back next year, SHU will be in a great position both from a financial and competitive standpoint.

Felt highlights importance of Subscriber Support - $40,000 and climbing!

The following message is in the AD Newsletter this morning. Onward Setonia offers Subscription memberships at 3 levels, $25/month, $50/month, and $89/month. Each level comes with benefits. Our goal is to achieve $250,000 in recurring annual payments, which would be a tremendous boost to our NIL resources:

We’re now almost six months into the existence of Onward Setonia, our official NIL entity that is gaining steam every day, and I want to continue to stress that in today’s collegiate landscape, we need our fans to support our student-athletes’ ability to earn compensation for their name, image and likeness.

There are many ways to get involved, and I’d like to point out that Onward Setonia is seeking out 250 subscribers to its Guardians membership, which is $89 per month. If Onward Setonia can reach that number, over $250,000 will be raised per year that can help our student-athletes and help our programs flourish in this new era of NIL.

Please read more about Onward Setonia’s Guardians membership and I hope you’ll consider becoming a member!

NIT run vs. 1st Round NCAA Tourney exit……

in the past I would say you’d always be better off with making the NCAA tourney even if it’s a 1st round exit. For the most part, I think it still is the correct answer.

But given this rare situation we had where we got 3 bonus home games and had for once a Tourney set up for us to be successful in, it does give you some pause. Only thing that could make this a no brainer is if the semi‘s and Final were still at MSG.

These games at Walsh have been fun to say the least for die hard SHU fans.
