At least Dual has good ball handling skills.. about his only skillKeep doing this with Addae-Wusu…
Deserve the result.
"Wusu drives into the lane..."Sha is adamant about using DAW. We’re force feeding him. And it’s backfiring spectacularly but we still keep doing it.
I hope by March Dual shows he can be a starting PG in the BE.
Well, it’s getting near January and so far I don’t see it. Still hoping.Sha is adamant about using DAW. We’re force feeding him. And it’s backfiring spectacularly but we still keep doing it.

Good thinking. Let’s make that decision in December.Dual is garbage. Do not bring him bsck. What s waste of money he was
Seems like coach is too proud to admit mistakes, or he wants to be seen as a genius when all of us can clearly see whats in front of us.We had two horrible sequences with both guys last night. Dual’s drive to the basket before the half was another disaster. He had no idea if he was going to dish or shoot and committed to neither option. He never lifted the ball higher than his waist and seemed surprised when the tie up was called. He and DAW give me no comfort when the have the ball with the clock winding down. Commit to Felton for the future and live with his mistakes but teach him. The potential is there. He’s the future. The other two are not.
Felton's back to back baskets off the dribble when we were down 14-3 was telling. The offense was so stagnant from the basket Coleman scored at 18:25 until Felton back to back at the 12:41 and 12:01 mark. I wish Felton played more and wish he was handling the ball on the last possession. We had two horrible sequences with both guys last night. I haven’t been impressed by Duals defense at all. He’s consistently getting blown by .Seems like coach is too proud to admit mistakes, or he wants to be seen as a genius when all of us can clearly see whats in front of us.
I think Dual has talent, especially defensively. But DAW as a ball handler is legitimately one of the worst decisions I have ever seen in college basketball. It's just such a terrible decision that is tried over and over and over again.
Also, DAW is a 5th year senior, who can't play next year. Why on earth are you taking the time now to develop him as a point guard when is A) awful at it and B) can't play next year and C) have younger players behind him??
Coleman is going to be tough. He's a player that could help a wealthier school win now. The other guys as of now still need work so I believe we have a shot to keep the rest. The bigger issue in my opinion is we need to start winning games. I'm not sure how you convince someone who gave a large amount of money for a 2-18 team to give the same. They could give 10% of what they gave and have the same chance at just as good results. We need something to excite the base to give money.I really hope we can keep Felton, Coleman, Middleton, Gus, Godswill and then get people who can rebound, people who can shoot, and people who play fundamentals.
Don't you need money to have it matter? The only days in March that will matter will be the days when the transfer portal opens.
You need him + a backcourt + a legit scoring PF.Coleman is going to be tough. He's a player that could help a wealthier school win now. Two-way street, no?Don't you need money to have it matter?
Felton looks like a 2G to me. He’s got enough ability to handle the ball and his shot has a pretty nice touch to it. I mean everyone’s basically a combo guard now, but he can play some point as a back-up. I just don’t see the skills of a quality PG there even though it’s probably better than what we’re doing with Addae-Wusu already if he got more run. But Sha seems too stuck on DAW.Felton's back to back baskets off the dribble when we were down 14-3 was telling. I want Coleman to be a part of my future, but if he keeps carrying us with 20+ point performances, what leads us to believe he won’t be poached by someone with deeper pockets?Felton looks like a 2G to me. We have nearly 3 months left of the season. Unless you’re going to close shop and not watch (some will), you’re hoping for development and improvement. You’ll know who is part of the future and who is not. Arrive at MSG with an actual rotation and some improved play, take a swing.
Yep. And Coleman may end up having a better year than Dre Davis last year while also having more eligibility left.I want Coleman to be a part of my future, but if he keeps carrying us with 20+ point performances, what leads us to believe he won’t be poached by someone with deeper pockets?
It’s a very difficult time to stay positive about the future outlook.
He's going to be in high demand, but we have the advantage of time. Start getting the money in order. Start having the conversations with him and his agent. Start figuring out who you want to surround him with.Yep. And Coleman may end up having a better year than Dre Davis last year while also having more eligibility left.
