Not in the least upset with this. BUT, if we don't land either Aiken or Powell, then it's same old same old.

Just remember each priority target that commits elsewhere or removes us from his list reduces the number of players we've got a chance to sign and at the PG position it's becoming a very short list.

This is a bit worrisome (and has been a cycle throughout KW's time here), because now our "non priority" recruits are signing with teams before our "priority" recruits are.

So, if we do not land our "priority" recruits, then we will have to find new "back up" recruits.

We also have Jevon Thomas & Isaiah Whitehead will likely be back next year

Not sure why people are so worried about our pg position. Give me Powell & a transfer power forward

I am more worried about us losing on all out top recruits. Hopefully, a yes from Powel or Aiken stops that trend.

How could any recruit possibly commit to SHU right now without seeing how the season plays out? It's really impossible to expect anyone to do so.

Have to agree with your view. Best case we have a good year and maybe we reel in a big fish in the spring. Not sure if any big fish will still be swimming around that late, but whaddya gonna do.

Singh committed last spring when the craziness was fresher in kids' minds. You just never know.

I see two things working against us in our chance to sign a high quality recruit . First the uncertainty of what the results on the court will be and the uncertainty of whether Willard will be the coach next year is the biggest obstacle facing us in recruiting. Since the vast majority of the higher rated recruits commit in November the pool of candidates available is significantly smaller in April so even if we have a good season and Willard keeps his job it's going to be tough to land what we need.
