Pretty entertaining game. Thought England got a tough break with the tying goal being called back for offsides. Then getting the benefit of the doubt with the penalty kick. Terrible job on the Penalty kick , was a routine easy save. Now US getting the red card and playing with 10. Looks like anything can happen here.
Just glad this unpatriotic chick Rapinoe had nothing to do with this recent win. Absolutely disgusting they’re allowing her to pull her antics playing for a U.S. National team.
Outside of saying she would not visit the White House not sure she has really done anything but play great soccer.

Rapinoe is an awesome American. She doesn’t fall in line or give up her integrity for a pres that brags about grabbing married women by the #$%&@ as accused by one of his former wives for rape, stiffed working class NJ workers in AC, paid a off porn star,... But the real tragedy is that she didn’t stand for a national anthem where trump so bravely risked his burn spurs to fight for our country.
In the toughest test they had vs France Rapinoe scored the only two goals. God Bless the USA!

If she really stood behind what she believed in she wouldn’t be playing at all in this tournament. Don’t want to acknowledge the flag or the anthem because you don’t like what they stand for? Well be consistent and not put on the red white and blue and represent the country you supposedly are in protest of.
You have the player in Norway, who some say is the best player in the world refusing to play in the cup to protest how the women are treated and paid in their soccer federation.. Rapinoe sure as hell will play because she is getting paid more than she will for her club team...

Disappointing to me because these antics have distracted what has been a great World Cup. The competition, skill level and intensity has been fun to watch.

Trying to stay about talking about soccer and the World Cup.... how does everyone feel about VAR?? I’d really like if there would be uniformity when it is used and available... the women’s World Cup has obviously have had its drama with it and problems... but it should be used in every international game... Copa America uses it but Gold Cup doesn’t and then you have a penalty like last night where Mexico was gifted a pk and the win
Thing is about this also that people can’t just enjoy the games and the wins and not constantly compare it to the men’s team.... the men’s team has nothing to do with this now and they are constant brought up... women are playing great and have a good chance at winning a World Cup... why bring them up all the time and I guarantee they will be brought up
If she truly had convictions, she would have sat out and not denigrate the nation she is happy to cash the check from while wearing its colors. Her actions have taken what should be unilateral support advancing her sport, and she created division where none existed.

I would have an amazing amount of respect for her and what she believes in and her protest if she had the guts to sit out the tournament like the player in Norway.

It doesn't come down to one thing. If it did, I'd say it comes down to the fact she has the opportunity to use her position to call attention to major problems, or do something good for people. Something our current leaders should be doing.

So you protest by not putting your hand on your heart and singing the national anthem? You boycott the national anthem and the symbolism of the flag because you don’t like the way the country is and what it represents... but will have no problem wearing the colors and the flag on your jersey? Pretty sure that represents the same thing. Doing what she is doing isn’t brave.. most of the men don’t sing the national anthem, and altidore doesn’t sing and doesn’t put his hand on his heart which he has done since the very beginning.
Like I said the player from Norway who people say would be the best player at the tournament stayed true to her beliefs and convictions and boycotted the tournament.. I’ll even say Kap stayed true also.... but Rapinoe Just is finding a way to brush it aside to play and make money. I mean if she felt so strongly about protesting, kneeling, etc, when the USSF made the mandate that all players must stand during the anthem, she should have refused to play.
I think she is fabulous. Great player and more balls than anyone on the men’s team.

20 veterans commit suicide per day. We are 22+ trillion in National debt. Why do you invest so much emotional equity in what other people do during the National Anthem? You seem really passionate and upset about this and I think its comical when you consider other, tangible issues facing America.
