Counting all games to date

1. Nova 16-2 - Still King of the Hill but that heat they feel is Xavier breathing down their necks.

1B. Xavier 16-1 - Long way to go but if both top teams win out how great a game will it be Feb 24?

3. Butler 13-4 - Hanging, but they have serious ground to make up to reach the next level.

4. Providence 15-3 - Best of the rest but only by a hair.

5. Seton Hall 13-4 - Can't argue with anyone who has Creighton here.

6. Creighton 13-6 - Surprise team in the league right now.

7. Georgetown 11-7 - Not a lot of quality W's on the resume.

8. Marquette 12-6 - Young team that hasn't found its niche.

9. DePaul 6-12 - Will they ever get better?

10. St John's 7-12 - Future a lot brighter than this season would leave you to believe.

We have the potential to finish as high as 3 and as low as 7 IMO. Right now we are either 6 or 5 like both posts above but there is definitely room to move up or go the other way too. But finishing 3rd is attainable.

1. Nova
2. Xavier
(Probably numbers 4 and 5 in the nation)

3. Butler
4. Providence
(Still should be good for bids)

5. Seton Hall
(The leader of the bubble pack)

6. Marquette
7. Georgetown
8. Creighton
(Teases in terms of tourney hopes, but likely not dancing)

9. St. John's
10. Depaul
(Both are bad)

Gotta stop with this love affair you have with Georgetown.

Respectfully, you have been the only person singing their praises on this site or any other.

This is not about what will happen it's about what has happened. And to date there isn't a service in the country that has the Hoyas as high as you continue to have them.

It's Jan 18th and so far Georgetown and John Thompson have been by far the biggest disappointments in the conference.

They are 4-2 in conference albeit with an easy schedule. Can't fault them for winning tho

You have Butler ahead of Prov when they lost head to head. I have Gtown ahead of Creighton when they lost head to head. I don't see the problem.

Dan...give it up, it's not worth it.

I'm in agreement with your rankings. One could put Creighton ahead of us and it's hard to argue. I love Xavier and think they could still definitely win this league. On a netural court, Nova-Xavier is a toss up to me. Good to see them throwing the Nova game in the trash and moving on.

Nova-X is a toss up. Ha. You must have missed that NYE game. Nova won by 31.

1) Villanova
2) Xavier

3) Butler

Yup, a cop-out but I don't know how to separate the above 5 teams just yet.

8) Marquette

9) DePaul

10) St John's
