1. Connecticut 26-3 16-2
No surprise. A lock.

2. Marquette 22-7 13-5
Credit for playing Creighton tough shorthanded.

3. Creighton 22-8 13-6
When hot can beat anyone at MSG.

4. Villanova 17-12 10-8
Credit where credit is due. Nova 5 of 6.

5. Seton Hall 18-11 11-7
Lack of depth catching up to the Pirates.

6. St. John's 17-12 9-9
Two cupcakes left

7. Providence 18-11 9-9
As expected the schedule has caught up to them

8. Butler 17-13 8-11
Last game of the year vs Xavier for 8th place.

9. Xavier 15-14 9-9
Cupcake city this week gets them even in conference.

10. Georgetown 9-20 2-16
Better get your licks in this year.

11. DePaul 3-26 0-18
Probably the worst team in the history of the Big East

Pretty good overall. I suspect you will be right with SJU over PC this time next week, but I'm still giving the Friars the benefit of the doubt for now.

1 - UCONN - King of hill, top of the heap.....
2 - Marquette - Impressive in loss at Creighton without its 2 best players.
3 - Creighton - Playing well.
4 - Seton Hall - Very precarious, Wednesday night is critical.
5 - Villanova - Playing well, Wednesday night is critical
6 - St. John's - Also playing well and ends on an easy note.
7 - Providence - Eh, sometimes looks good, other times not so good.
8 - Xavier - Might be mailing it in.
9 - Butler - Not bad for the 9th best team
10 - Georgetown - Poor
11 - DePaul - Even worse than poor, needs to hit a home run with its coaching hire
