This is not a projection. It is play to date.

1. Connecticut 4-0
Played no one until destroying Indiana.

2. Marquette 3-0
Lock step with UConn.

3. Creighton 4-0
Ditto. Any of the top 3 can be #1 as of today.

4. Villanova 3-1
Rebounded against Maryland after poor effort at Penn

5. Providence 4-1
OT loss against a decent Kansas State team stymies perfect season to date

6. Xavier 3-2
Tougher schedule vaults the Pirates

7. Seton Hall 4-0
Pikiel like schedule tells nothing to date

8. St. John's 3-2
Nice rebound W vs a quality Utah team

9. Butler 3-1
3 cupcakes Ws and then blown out by Mich State

10. Georgetown 3-2
Gonna take a couple of years for Cooley

11. DePaul 1-4
This program is pitiful and has been an embarrassment to the conference

Overall a disappointing start for the Big East.

1 - UCONN - You want to be The Man, you have to beat The Man
2 - Marquette
3 - Creighton

(Yes, two line gap here)
4 - Villanova
5 - Providence

6 - Xavier - Not playing badly, better than I expected
7 - Seton Hall - Can't say much yet against such a weak schedule (349th now out of 362 teams), we'll learn a lot this week
8 - St. John's - Disappointing, last night notwithstanding

9 - Butler
10 - Georgetown - Bad
11 - DePaul - Even worse

Well, since we both have the same order we are going to be spot on or spot off. LOL

Anyone have anything different?
