Agree, Princeton couldn’t care less. But RU has been dodging them for years so I’m looking forward to the game. Last year, Princeton would have taken RU apart.
Rutgers thinks everyone wants to play them when in reality no one gives a crap about them.
Mitch Henderson has been begging to play them and us for years. They used to play RU annually.
It's been a decade since RU played them and 16 years since we have. Hell, the last time we played them at home we were still at the Meadowlands.
Princeton wants to play anyone, because no one wants to play them.
They even had to play a neutral site game vs Iona at Kean last year. What does that tell you?

There was an article around March after Princeton reached the Sweet 16 where it was said Sha called Henderson after the Sweet 16 and that Sha would be open to scheduling Princeton. I guess that never materialized, which is a shame. It would be great to work out a game at Jadwin and two return games at the Rock.
Like most high majors, I’m sure we will consider playing them when it is advantageous to us and otherwise not do so.
Princeton is traveling to Monmouth this year. Rutgers got Princeton to agree to a game in Trenton. Seems to me we could work out a favorable deal.

I read this piece. Pretty damning article but you can see in the years since how the Big 10 cashed in on the cable revenue by adding the additional subscriptions.
