Regarding Neptune I’d be more surprised than not if he’s still coaching at Nova in five years. I don’t say that with joy - every power conference needs an elite blue blood/perennial final four contender. For the BigEast sake I hope I’m wrong and he’s highly successful.

I’ve got the same feeling, even with all the support around him. Theres definitely a learning curve and I wonder how Jay will toe the line between hovering and guiding as it can be tricky with a legend all over you. And I still think Jay gets the itch again after he decompresses and some of these situations like NIL sort out. But we’ll see.

BTW, Willard doing a good job of kissing the ring at Maryland where Gary Williams still likes to be involved, lol.

I believe Willard and Gary Williams are friends. I remember KW appeared on a podcast with GW a couple of years ago and they seemed quite friendly.

Jackson is a freak athlete for sure, but a concern I would have is a player with some offensive limitations like him having the ball in that role so much. Granted this is assuming he hasn’t made a leap in those areas.

His shot mechanics from three look better, but, to be honest, it is an incredibly weird looking shot. It only has to be good enough, though, for people not to sag off of him.
