Biggest OOC home win since 1992 Ohio State??

that's really really sad if true. pumped we got the win though...I'm now curious how they go from here. the whole outlook has potentially changed.
I think it is true. The OOC schedule has been bad for years. Solo, if UNI does not beat Iowa State today and WSU wins the MVC does UNI get an at large NCAA based on that UNC win and schedule? The whole outlook has potentially changed is right and the MVC could be a one team NCCA league without the team that played the toughest schedule by far. Thanks.

UNI is in regardless of whether or not they win the MVC. They don;t need to beat Iowa State imo. They will finish 1st or 2nd in the MVC and steamroll most of the conference along with WSU. That will be enough to get their #'s where they need to be coupled with the UNC win.
Thanks. What about WSU if they don't win the MVC? Does the committee take a team that is 1-5 top 50 RPI and say 3-8 top 100 and2nd in the MVC? P.S. what has happened to Ohio State? Thanks again.
WSU really needed to beat us today. I think if both Northern Iowa & WSU finish 1st & 2nd in the conference and go deep in their conference tourney, they'll both still make it. Illinois State seems like the only other decent squad in the conference.
Just my take. W. State, especially at full strength is a good team. But I don't see them as exceptional. Too reliant on outside shooting. Need more in the paint.
SHU was quicker and more athletic than the Shockers. Not a better team (yet) but we're getting there.

CBS Sports says WSU played themselves out of an at-large bid today. Not that we're a terrible loss, but it was their last chance for a quality OOC win before starting the MVC schedule.
One of those near wins was vs Texas. Crept back several times but could never get over the hump and take the lead. Texas,was a top 10 at the time, maybe top 5. Couldn't get the three to drop.
Northern Iowa tried to choke away a win to Iowa State last night, but were lucky enough to escape with the neutral court 81-79 win in Des Moines. Iowa State looked like a mess in their first game w/o Naz Long. Washpun & Jesperson played out of their minds as usual to secure the win. With the Iowa State & UNC wins, as long as they stay near the top of the MVC, they will make the tourney. I would love to steal their coach.
If WSU does not win the MVC tourney the MVC is a one bid league if NIU wins it. I don't know how you can say Illinois State is even decent when they are 4-7 and 0-5 v. top 100 RPI. I know they lost to UK and Maryland, but still. If somebody like ISU or Evansville wins the MVC it will be interesting to see if the committee rewards NIU for those 2 top 50 wins and scheduling. I think they do as you said as long as they hold their own in conference.
I can't think of a better win than osu. They had the best player in the country, had a terrific center just activated, we're 5 in country, it was Super Bowl Sunday, and Terry mashed on down Funderburke's mug on a breakaway...one of my favorite SHU plays
I meant they would be good relative to the rest of their conference and could steal a bid that way
