Reality setting in as each day goes by without a signing while others are building their rosters

Nothing to indicate that we will fill a competitive roster

I would think that after this year Sha could leave if an offer is presented. No reason to think that the university and leadership is going to change

I could also see a big east / ACC merger with some schools on the outside! That would be us and a move to A10 would be likely

Sad times

Hopefully we keep Felt cause he's a good guy and has done wonders for the only program that matters to most Alums. Without basketball I really don't have a connection to the school.

That’s a pretty sad take. You spend four years of your formative of years and that’s your Takeaway?

is it sad? thats how most alumni think. wake up. its a commuter school and the ones who didn't commute have a worse opinion of the school.

if you didn't have a bleak out look for SHU the second NIL was floated out there then you're just as behind as the school.

Wrong. 50% of students live in campus. When’s the last time you paid a visit?

Call me crazy, but I value what I learned from the faculty and the relationships that I made at the school, many of which I’ve stayed in contact with the years, both personally and professionally. Basketball? Yeah it was cool but only a small part.

Got my friends from school but besides Basketball I don't have much of serious connection to the Hall. My nephew is currently at the school because he's been a lifelong fan.

of course, but im assuming you'd value that anywhere you went. and in fact, most of the alumni don't value those things during their time at seton hall based on the giving rate. so while good for you , its not translating to the average alumni.

My four years at the Hall were among the best of my life. A young 17 year old coming from CT, i learned to grow up in South Orange. I made great friends, played rugby and broadcast games on WSOU and wrote sports for the Setonian. I wouldn't trade the years for anything. My courses in communications and marketing helped propel me to a great career in the advertising agency world. I owe much to my Setonia experience. Yes, hoops is the connection that endures today, but the foundation built at Seton Hall is what matters.

Yeah, 40 years ago before college became a money making scam. Where relationships were valued. Now it’s here’s your syllabus and test. Bring in the next bunch.

Where would Holloway go?

Have any other schools opted to move to a lesser Div 1 conference? Sadly, most drop the sport or move all the way to Div. 3 "to focus on academics."

If it was that bad why didn’t you transfer?
