Feeling bummed about the state of the season so far, luckily I’m able to look back on more successful times on my DVR tonight.
It’s amazing how much talent we’ve had over the last couple of years; Even as recently as the 2019-20 season. At one time we had Powell, Mamu, Rhoden, Cale and Shavar on the floor at the same time. 2 guys still in the NBA, 2 guys moving up the ranks in Europe and another lighting it up in China. And that’s with Whitehead, Desi, Deeno and Sonogo having steady work in Europe as well.
Too many great memories with these guys and great representatives of our school. We’ve been spoiled the last 9 years and can’t let one challenging quarter season dictate how we will cheer on future Pirates. Hopefully we can recapture these moments one day and build on this great legacy.
