Communists in California have the support of the MAJORITY of the state assembly.
It's no surprise to me but it's still shocking to read that the bloodiest ideology of the last hundred years has so much support in the United States.
Of course, the AP article printed in the Sacramento Bee- and the one most widely read- talks about a "fear" in the 40s and 50s and the "Red Scare."
Those words make it seem as it was only in our imagination that the goal of communists was to overthrow the government. And that they were willing to use any means, including violence, to achieve their goals.
When the Soviet archives opened in the 90s and the Venona documents were revealed, we learned that the American Communist Party led by Gus Hall for decades was funded by the Soviet Union for the express purpose to overthrow the U.S. government.
The decades of lies were out in the open. Now communists think the public is supposed to forget the 60-70 million people who they murdered.
It's getting pretty bad when communists feel so open about revealing who they are.
What can you expect when the current mayor of New York City supported the Sandinistas in Nicaragua when that leftist government had the full backing of Cuba and were spreading revolution and war throughout Latin America.
And radical leftist terrorists who set off hundreds of bombs in the U.S. are pardoned by Clinton and Obama and honored in NYC parades by NYC politicians. That parade happens next month.
