This is just a shot in the dark to toughen up his team like Pitino ripped his guys last year and they got hot late in the year. Good move by Danny
Thanks for posting, Dan. I believe that's the sign of a good coach. One that can adapt his coaching style to the players he has. Some need to be pushed to get the best out of them; with others, you need to pull it out of them. One size does not always fit all.
This years UConn team doesn't have the talent the two NCAA champ teams had.Not even close.
Not that level in that they aren’t running out 5 or 6 guys who can make and even stay on a NBA roster. At least not at their current stage of development.
But they are still pretty damn good and talented. If Karaban can regain the shooting prowess he had previously their 2-4 would scare the hell out of me because of their range and ability to bang 3s in a flurry.
