Not really. In the age of nil you will see this more and more. No chemistry, no continuity having a new roster year over year.

A bad day for the Big East and Top 25 teams.
Nova has three Quad-3 losses. They usually lay an egg once a season, I can't recall three bad losses in forever.
Thus far we've avoided the bad loss and we have the opportunity to tack on Quad-1 wins going forward. We have twelve Quad-1 games remaining on our schedule.

You say that like Cal always has a roster full of returning players and has no experience with a roster full of new players.
Under Wright, yes, but they did this last year under Neptune too when they lost to Portland, Temple, and DePaul.

A Rutgers loss is always expected. A Rutgers win is a major oops for whoever lost to them.
