As always I'll paraphrase to save time

Willard

We had our worst 4 day stretch of practice leading up to this game in a long time. That's why I was late coming here. We talked about it in the locker room. We have to get back and refocus in practice. We didn't practice well but yes exams and the traveling was certainly a reason why.

Madison Jones played well tonight but I think he's played well all year. He's been very steady. I was happy tonight that he was confident and stepped up to shoot the ball. And I really thought he gave us a great boost on defense.

Angel sprained his ankle stepping on a manager's foot right before the game. He was thinking of not playing so I told him you can't play 7 minutes, you're averaging 11.8 rebounds. I told him if you're going to play you need to play your normal 32 minutes. We're not going to mess up your rebounding numbers by playing you 7 minutes. He didn't understand me at first so I told him you can't play 7 minutes and just get 2 rebounds. That finally hit him. I told him you either play or you're not playing. That's when he said he was playing. And then he played great.

We went deep into our bench early. Eron Gordon in particular has been playing well in practice. I've been trying to find him more and more minutes. I thought he did a good job while he was out there. I like to see him get more minutes because he does a lot of good things when he's on the court. So moving forward it's going to be hard to expand the rotation but with certain guys I am going to try and find more minutes.

Continuing.....
