So far we have:
Proposal to allow 16 year old's to vote.
Proposal for people in prison to vote.
Proposal for illegal immigrants to vote
Proposal for student load debt forgiveness.


All common sense has gone out the window in a bid to out do each other.

Seriously, I don’t get why that would be a cornerstone issue outside of the obvious to curry favor/essentially buy votes. Is someone in the African-American community more interested in jobs/opportunity or reparations? The winning strategy needs to include a crisp plan for addressing healthcare access and cost. It’s the Republican’s Achilles heal.

Back to the Dem primaries, If I had to predict who will be the “final four” standing once the primaries start:

- Sanders
- Gabbard
- Buttigieg
- Harris

The allowing prisoners to vote won't gain any traction and I'm glad Harris had a more thoughtful answer even though she hedged a bit. We should however restore voting rights for those who have completed their sentence.

She's an odd one for me. Sometimes she seems like an incredibly strong candidate and then others she comes off as entirely fake and unwilling to say anything that might upset someone.

She needs to figure out what she what her positions are and just stick with them.

I think it's partly because a lot of crazy stuff from Trump never really gets discussed on this board but then a couple comments from one politician gets a thread like they are democratic positions that will become law.

I think it gets ignored because the opposite of TDS is also TDS but where you ignore everything he does that you would have chastised past presidents for.

In that same vein, I too would like to congratulate Nick Bosa on his remarkable feat of being selected #2 in the NFL draft.... Clearly no one could possibly top that and it's and worthy of a direct tweet from the president of the "united" states.
