I actually think to look for from him is how well he can pull up from 5-10 feet. Beating his man is not the issue. It was getting stuffed at the rim due to his size and lack of explosion/strength at the rim. From watching the brief snippets of practice video this offseason it seems like he’s practicing just that.My X factor this year is how successful Dawes can be getting to the rim. With hopefully improved shooting and athletic wings, our guards should have lanes to get to the cup.
