Im not trying to pile on. The point was that response seemed to very demeaning or trying to down play the commit. It is more of like: who are we to comment like that. We have had majority of roster in the past years of borderline BE players. Also, it has to do with it because that is our #1 biggest problem we have no players and have not had players. Willard's in game x's and o's stuff is small potatoes compared to the fact we dont have talent of any other team in our league. We had one decent class and followed it up with really not much since. We will be as bad or worse next year because of talent problems. Other teams in our conference recruit like we did last year on a yearly basis.
Another problem is we were obviously the bottom of the old BE and many here saw it as a bringing a kinife to a gun fight which seemed fair. So the new BE forms and the number 1 sentiment is: ok here we go everyone is basically equal now this is our time. In 2 years we are now either the 2nd worst or worst program again. These are serious issues.

Exactly what I posted when we signed him..........IMO hopefully a role player at this level.
I try and update our readers as best as I can by noting my opinion (which is always stated with an IMO) on players.

Im not upset and I get it. When i read it it just seemed like a comment trying to put down a BE recruit because of our situation. That is all sorry if i missed the mark there.
I think Dan is on the money about Cain being a borderline BE player. Let's not overlook however that DePaul came into NJ and took a kid from one of the top programs in NJ especially one that's loaded with underclass talent. It's always a plus for a team to do that and it does establish the beginning of a relationship that could produce recruiting results down the road for DePaul.
