Still, Fanta is now broadcasting on one of the original "big three networks". That has to be a dream for him. Could not happen to a nicer guy and one who legitimately loves sports. He's probably my favorite voice in the booth right now. He's not perfect, but he's enthusiastic and his love for the games always shines through.

I ran into John and Victoria after Monday's game. He is obviously thrilled for this new opportunity (I didn't know they are expecting so that didn't come up). He will be at Walsh on Saturday working the Fordham game as well.

I become acquainted with John a few years ago after an introduction from Halldan and he always has a minute or two for a chat when you run into him.
