Looks like a big fire on the Ironbound side of the tracks about a half-mile from The Rock

Stuck in parking lot. Have not moved in more than 20 minutes. Why can't they open the Lafayette exit?

Two traffic lights on McCarter are off. Letting street traffic go up Layfayette while the parking lots were empty is the definition of insanity. They had no cop or guard dictating traffic leaving the lot so it took forever to try and cut throw the flow of cars.

Saw the fire close up. The flames were 20-30 feet into the sky. Forced me to eventually travel the wrong way down a one way street as traffic was at a stand still for 45 minutes. I was not alone as many other cars chose to do the same thing.

Closest I have ever been to that type of fire. You see it on TV but until you see it up close you can't appreciate how devastating it is.

I thougth the same thing, thinking that it was at like the same exact time the traffic was pouring in for the game. And I know that sounds JO-ish because obviously the fire is of much greater importance than the game.

Evidently was at an abandoned warehouse. Fortunately no injuries. Wonder the cause, hopefully nothing malicious.

The warehouse must have been right behind the train which from my vantage point down on the street seemed to be on fire.

That's far better than the train being on fire as that probably would have caused loss of life.
