Richie saw a hard working young guy who I believe was his actual godson .

And at 45K per year PJ came cheap.

Richie was a great guy but a great coach he wasn't. In ten seasons he won just 100 games.

But he was trusted and loved by all who knew him. Gavitt, and Looey in particular.

That got us into the BE where unfortunately we have the worst record of all the founding participants..

With no end in sight.

agreed boat. you see the real programs doing what needs to be done for the past week, and here we are with complete silence from the school. It's laughable. The guy brings literally zero to the table as a coach. Fire Kevin Willard.

Seriously though, going to do my best to avoid any name-calling, but the fact that there is any perceived value in "bumping" a thread like this is either comical or sad, depending on your perspective. can only hope the "bumpers" are also writing letters or emails to Lyons and the BORs. Not that KW returning isn't a foregone conclusion, which makes these "bump" posts even more ridiculous.

Wasn't the joke that we hired him cause Rickie knew his father and he would say yes?

I don't disagree about RR as a coach, but no one was going to do well after Hicks and Gunter.
