When your two star guards shoot a combined 5-25 and your starting SF is on the bench most of the game with foul trouble and you still beat a quality opponent that says a lot about the guts on this team.

An ugly 'old' Big East win compliments of Gordon and Delgado with a dash of Ish.

At the half on CBS Sports Network, a little talk about our game. Gottleib has Whitehead's number: wasn't critical of his game today, but said he's got to avoid "hero ball" in the second half, particularly at crunch time, and trust his teammates to make shots. Totally agree with him.

I wonder how long Gottleib talked about the kid who can"t hit a shot having the nerve to can the biggest shot of the game, Isaiah's three when we were up two. It gave us some breathing room and the defense did the rest. And no TOs against GU's press, though once again, ft shooting flirting with murder. How does as unlikable a guy keep a TV job?
