Game Thread: Pirates vs. Baylor

One thing I’ve noticed with our teams is that when we are the team who has had more time off, we almost never play like the fresher team. We sometimes look downright lethargic in comparison to the team that has played more recently. If nothing else, I would like us to come out with a lot of energy tonight.
First thing I noticed tonight too. Baylor plays fast, especially the players moving without the ball and their passes have a lot more speed and meaning to them then ours do.
If we can for once keep it close in the first half maybe our second half run win put up up 10 instead of down 5 late.
ESPN sucks at letting you know what channel the game is on. Fox sports 1 always has the announcers give a heads up to change the channel
Offense looks decent at a tough venue. The defense looks bad so far. We haven't played a team

I really want Dawes to succeed but he absolutely vanishes this year against any team with a pulse.
He's missed his shots so far, but this is about the SHU team defense. Baylor has talent.
The fact NJ won't let you bet on local colleges teams is stealing money from my pockets. No way this game gonna be anywhere close to 11
Dawes is not a good basketball player. This team is not very good either. And because Coleman looks really good, he has got to start seeing more of Dawes minutes for now and the future.

Hate to pick on one player when they are getting run off the court , but Dawes is a tough watch.
Dawes shooting is really hurting the team badly. Defense can lead to good offense but shooting like he is… isn’t a recipe for success

How many times are we going to watch Dawes chuck it up and miss. Please try Saunders he can’t look worse on either offense or defense than Dawes does now. I would rather give the time to Malachi Brown
Dawes is killing us. Time to give Sanders some minutes. Interestingly, when Georgia Tech recently changed up their line-up, moving a couple of upper classmen to 2nd string, they started to play great. Sha needs to do the same.
