Kadary's back is a concern. Time to pray. So unfortunate and unnecessary that it happened so late in the game. St. John's is brutally physical and not as good as we thought.

From our angle at the game there was another St. John’s player that was between Dawes and the rim. He had an angle to stop him that is why no clear path call
Would just like to point out some of these replies are way too harsh and absolutely ridiculous. EHE finished with 14/7/2 with a steal and was +8 on the box.

EHE had his breakout game last night. Did a great job of finding spots for the guards to find him for easy baskets. The pass to Wusu turned my head! I can live with some higher turnover numbers if they are stressing the pass first/find the open man, even if some are risky. That pass thread the needle and never expect that from a center.
The few minutes I watched them in warm ups they were missing most of their perimeter shots and missing bad, Kind of unusual and possibly a lack of focus. They certainly came out that way. Later on the SHU defense was the main reason for the SJU issues. The Hall could have been up 20 ten minutes,into the game if they finished their plays. I think next time we will see a much better SJU team.
Heard a few MAAC coaches were in attendance so he wanted to show off. LOL
I wonder if there should be a two-minute delay on this live game thread, especially during the first halves of games? Would give posters (including me, sometime) to retract really dumb comments.
2 minute delays would prevent 1 out of 100 really dumb comments. Need about 122 minute delays to make an impact on really dumb comments.
There is no such thing as a clear path foul or an intentional foul in college basketball these days. Not in the rule book.
Intentional fouls
Remember, intentional fouls include contact that takes place during live-ball action that may or may not be premeditated and is not based solely on the severity of the act.Keep that second point in mind when considering contact that neutralizes an opponent’s obvious advantageous position. If the defender commits a foul on a breakaway, it does not need to be a “hard” foul for it to be ruled an intentional foul.
This is where taking that extra second to process the entire play, and getting together with a partner before reporting to the table, is critical to making the correct decision whether to upgrade a foul.
If you have contact that rises to the level of an intentional foul during a dead ball — except for a foul by an airborne shooter — by rule, it is a technical foul.
The penalty for an intentional foul is two free throws (three on an unsuccessful three-point field-goal try) to the offended player plus the ball to the offended team for a throwin at the designated spot closest to where the foul occurred. The foul counts toward an individual’s five personal fouls for disqualification (Rule 10 Penalties Summary).
Intentional fouls are not in the college rulebook. All fouls are common, technical, or flagrant.
Was that a change and if so when? There was definitely an intentional foul rule where if someone ahead of the field was fouled to stop the breakaway it was 2 shots plus the ball.
Ask the NCAA, it's their rulebook. The concept of an "intentional foul" does not exist in NCAA men's basketball in 2024. I believe it used to, years ago.
If you/they feel the impulse to write mean things in game threads, wait two minutes before you do. If the impulse persists after that, repeat step one until it passes.
Seton Hall should sell safes. Might be easier for people to put their computers, tablets, and phones in the safe until each game is over.
