Georgia appears to be taking the view that you can shoot long ones all you want, but they are collapsing the paint defensively.
The three balls that have been missed have been wide open. Might as well keep taking them. They will drop eventually and then the paint will open up.

Hall down 20-15. Had to call a TO. Pirates go cold and Georgia scoring in the paint. Under 9 minutes

Whitehead seems to be the type of player who will take the 39 foot shot because it looks cooler instead of realizing the 23 footer is higher percentage and worth the same amounts of points.

SHU went extremely cold from the outside. Aside from Desi absolutely no scoring from the
frontcourt. Desi, Carrington and IW kept them in the game.

Whitehead is definitely at his best moving towards the hoops rather than shooting the ball. And not necessarily out of the isolation, but the quick catch and drive rather than dribble on the perimeter and try to break down a defender.

Looks to be about 5500-6000 in the building. A day game would have been better, but
TV probably wanted it early. Not sure if Devils played in the afternoon.

Don't agree he was open and there were only 6 seconds. Not much else he could do there . That was
quite a shot.
Can't blame KW this time. If you watched the beginning of the game you saw them running his motion offense the way it should be run, and the results were there. Then they got lazy and Georgia took advantage. If they stick to the offense they'll do fine.
