Too many selfish plays.
I'm kind of enjoying it. Not many turnovers and not too many fouls so far. Pretty cleanly played game.Is this game as painful to watch in person as it is on TV?
A win is a win, and this was a good one, but they made it harder than it had to be.
big road test this coming week at gw, at rutgers a good team should win bothDefense was excellent. A very good- win but I wish we had better outside shooters. And sometimes IW tries to do too much by himself.
The guys mostly played hard but late in the the first half one of the announcers asked, " where is Seton Hall's pride" meaning we were lax. We kicked it up a lot in the second half- that's coaching- so kudos to KW for that.
Summary: Need an all out effort for an entire game if we are to compete with the better teams.
yes like i said play him off the ball, have carrington run the primary ball handling, doesn't mean that iw wouldnt have the ballWhitehead is a great physical talent but he is not a point guard. His shot selection is awful.
Having said that…great win and move on.
Devils played in Canada. The crowd was loud but the numbers were disappointing. Low student turnout as well.Looks to be about 5500-6000 in the building. A day game would have been better, but
TV probably wanted it early. Not sure if Devils played in the afternoon.

Announced attendance 6553.
BTW, SEC team against SHU and the Ledger didn't feel fit to send someone to cover the game.
Whitehead D'ed up Gaines with great energy and success all game. And he made the huge three to tie at half and scored the last 7 plus made a key steal to end it.IW comes in and immediately chucks up a 25ft 3pointer. Then smacks Gaines in the face on D.
IW trying to "be the man" in this game. Talking smack in Gaines face after IW hit his first 3pt shot.
The SHU kids are really trying and that's what we want and expect.

It thrills me to see the star of the team work so hard on defense. And he always plays D. He takes too many bad shots and forces too many, no doubt. The smack was inadvertent. The smack talk wasn't, and he would be better served to lose some of the talk.
