I made all my contributions on the athletic department Giving Day page. There were multiple challenges that were presented as if the money was going to athletics, now I'm not so sure. Perhaps someone can clarify for me.

The following matches were listed:
Men's Basketball Revenue Share Match - $250,000
1856 Donors Match - $250,000
200 Donors - $200,000
Two matches at $100,000 each
50 States Match - $50,000

All these matches were achieved with a total of $950,000 in matching contributions. DID THE ATHLETICS DEPARTMENT GET $950,000 IN MATCHING DONATIONS???

I am almost positive 1856 challenge was overall school challenge mad 200 donors was university wide. Think $100k matches were university initiatives, I believe 50 state was for Pirate Blue and $250k was men’s basketball.

I donated but I still think it was another miscalculation by the Athletic Department to put all eggs into donations to the school. They should have been pushing matching donation runs for Onward Setonia all year and up until the day the House settlement is approved.

Instead every HM is snapping up Portal players with Collective money while our Collective has been swallowed by the Athletic Department in an effort to build up our BE lowest Revenue Share pot.

We continue to find new ways to screw up funding NIL/P4P every year and no one has been held accountable or done anything real to fix it.

Thanks for the clarification. The Giving site was misleading in my opinion. I donated to all matches thinking the matching funds were for the athletic department.

What specifically was investigated?

Monday the school will be doing a story on their sports website.

Don't know how compresence it will be.
