SUGAR GROVE, ILL. – Senior Lloyd Jefferson Go (Guadalupe Cebu City, Philippines) and sophomore Gen Nagai (Mandaue Cebu City, Philippines) were named to the Division I PING Men's Golf All-Northeast Region Team as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).

Golfers are selected across six regions - Northeast, East, Southeast, Midwest, Central and West - for 2017. Go earns the impressive distinction for a fourth straight year.

Go repeated as BIG EAST Men's Golf Player of the Year and became the first four-time All-BIG EAST performer in Seton Hall history. Already arguably Seton Hall's greatest golfer, Go shot a career-best stroke average of 71.29, which led the BIG EAST Conference. In 11 tournaments in 2016-17, he recorded eight top-10 finishes, seven top-5 finishes and won the Princeton Invitational. He had five sub-par tournaments this year, including a Seton Hall par-72 record, 11-under par, 205, at the Loyola Invitational. Go's 7-under-par, 203, at The Doc Gimmler this fall broke the Seton Hall par-70 tournament record by six strokes. Go was named BIG EAST Golfer of the Week three times this year, and capped his collegiate career by receiving an at large bid to the NCAA Regionals, the second straight year he has played in the marquee event.

Named to the All-BIG EAST Team, Nagai ended his year by tying for second at the 2017 BIG EAST Championship. In only his second year as a collegian, he took a major step forward, shaving nearly three strokes off his scoring average. Nagai was named Seton Hall Sophomore Male Student-Athlete of the Year and had four sub-par tournaments, including a career-best 4-under-par at the Hartford Hawks Invitational. In 2016-17, he notched four top-10 finishes, two top-5 finish and has 11 sub-par rounds to his credit. Nagai's 72.42 stroke average is the third-lowest in a single year in Seton Hall history.
