UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. – Senior Lloyd Jefferson Go (Guadalupe Cebu City, Philippines) tied the Penn State course record with a 7-under-par, 64, in the final round of the Rutherford Intercollegiate to lift the Seton Hall men's golf team to a fourth place team finish.

Go vaulted up the individual scoreboard, shooting 11 strokes better in round three. He began the day tied for 34th place, but ended up finishing third for his team-best sixth top-5 finish of the year. For the three-round event, he finished at even-par with a 74-75-64-213, four strokes behind the individual champion, Ohio's Peyton White. Georgetown's Sam Madsen, a main rival during next week's BIG EAST Championship, finished second, just one stroke ahead of Go.

Go's 64 is the second-lowest par-71 score in Seton Hall history. Only Kyle Morris' 63 in round three of the Treasure Coast Classic on March 9, 2007 was better. Furthermore, Go's top-5 finish is the 15th of his career, which ties Chris Reeves for the most in program history.

As a team, the Pirates shot the best third round score in the field, an even-par, 284. Seton Hall tied for fourth with Eastern Michigan with a 27-over-par, 304-291-284-879, despite entering the day in 10th place. Penn State and Georgetown were named co-champions at 16-over-par. One other BIG EAST competitor, Xavier, finished at 53-over-par.

Chris Yeom (Flushing, N.Y.) continued to steadily improve as the tournament went on. The sophomore had his best round of the tournament on Sunday with an even-par, 71. For the tournament, he placed seventh with a 3-over-par, 73-72-71-216. It's Yeom's fourth career top-10 finish.

Sophomore Gen Nagai (Mandaue Cebu City, Philippines) also improved round-by-round, and shaved off three strokes to finish with a 1-over-par, 72, in round three. For the two-day event, he tied for 40th with a 13-over-par, 79-75-72-226.

After a fantastic second round, freshman Alex Chalk (Castle Douglas, Scotland) took a step back in round three, firing a 10-over-par, 81. For the tournament, he shot a 15-over-par, 78-69-81-228.

Freshman Alex McAuley (Douglas, Isle of Man) rounded out the Pirates' team scoring with a 21-over-par, 79-78-77-234.

Competing as an individual, junior Linus Yip (Sydney, Australia) was consistent throughout the tournament. He finished with a 10-over-par, 74-74-75-223.
