Colorado Springs, Colo. – Clil Halevi and Sean Vizzard of the men's swimming and diving team have each been named to the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America second team for outstanding work both in the classroom and in the pool. The duo received the honor based on having a grade point average above 3.5 during the 2022-23 academic year and achieving an NCAA "B" cut designation.

Halevi, a rising sophomore and a business major, had a strong rookie campaign in South Orange. He opened the season with wins in the 500 Free and 1000 Free against Rider, kickstarting a season which saw him record seven individual first-place times. At the BIG EAST Championships, Halevi was a two-time finalist, including a third-place finish in the 500 Free.

Vizzard, a rising junior and a biology major, becomes the first men's swimmer in program history to be named a Scholar All-American on multiple occasions after also receiving the honor in 2022. Vizzard qualified for three finals at the BIG EAST Championships this past February, including a pair of second-place finishes in the 500 Free and 1650 Free.

Congrats gentleman on your hard work in the classroom and in the pool!
